I'm still alive... at least for this minute anyway!

Well, the new laptop has arrived so that I can at least keep in touch. I can't believe that it has been almost 2 months since I posted anything! Oh well... I have kept busy since Spring Fever has hit me (it happens every year :) ... and I like to go out in my "garden" and dig around in the dirt...ahhhhh...I'm am such a simpleton. It is the little things that amuse me the most.
On the scrapbooking side, I have done very little over the past couple of months. I seem to have lost my interest as I did last spring and summer as well. Now, I did do four layouts the other night. I guess it was the snow in May that kinda tricked me into thinking it was winter all over again (sigh). I also felt a twinge of guilt over buying a paper pack at Deidra's called Orbit from Crate Paper and it was just sitting there for the longest time. So I took out some old pics of Jayden and did some layouts. I have to say it is really nice paper and lots of embellishments...just right for a young boy. I just have to see if I can actually post them...hope that doesn't take two more months!

Well, holidays start tomorrow and I am looking forward to being a sloth...sleep, read and scrap....ahhhhhh. NOT! It never works out that way, does it? Maybe, though, I can actually get my computer fixed so that I can get access to my hard drive. I was starting to feel all organized and "grown up" bloggin' and all...ha. Anyway, my daughter is wanting her time on this wonderful machine (remember I said that I am using our dinosaur now). There is fierce competiton over this since there are four of us geeks in the house. :)

My computer just died!

Oh, NOT AGAIN! I finally got my pictures organized and put on a new hard drive and the computer crashes once again! This is the third time for our laptop...it was just bought last year. Oh, well, I guess my blogging will have to wait. I am now using the dinosaur that we use for back up. I am expecting at any moment it will roll over and die too... :) That's life I guess !
